The 1986 vintage from Armagnac Delord is a single-harvest eau-de-vie, distilled and then aged for many years in Gascon oak casks at the family cellars in Lannepax, in the Gers. The nose hints at almond kernel, spices (cinnamon, pepper). The palate plays on notes of fresh tea flowers, spices and dried thyme. Bottled at 40% vol., this vintage Armagnac is presented here in a 70 cl bottle, equally suited to leisurely tasting or as an exceptional gift.
