This Bas-Armagnac vintage 2000 from Château de Millet, in a 150 cl magnum, is a single-harvest eau-de-vie, vinified and distilled on the estate by the Dèche family, who have been grower-producers in Eauze for five generations. The house's 2026 catalogue describes it as follows: an open, direct nose combining fruity and vanilla aromas; a palate in the same register, balanced by a pleasing freshness; a spiced, powerful and harmonious finish. A vintage of fine character, according to the house. The vineyard is managed using sustainable farming practices, certified Haute Valeur Environnementale level 3. Each vintage is available in 20 cl, 50 cl, 70 cl, magnum and pot gascon of 2.5 l, with a wooden gift box as an option.

Vintage good

2000 was the first vintage of the twenty-first century, a year marked by France's victory at Euro 2000. In Gascony, the vines yielded a fruity and expressive vintage. Aged for a quarter of a century in Gascon oak casks, these eaux-de-vie now present a youthful, lively profile, with fresh fruit, floral notes and a touch of vanilla.
