Sempé Armagnac Vintage 1950

This is a 1950 harvest, drawn from the great collection of vintages that the house of Sempé has been building since 1934 in Aignan, in Bas-Armagnac. Successive cellar masters select, for each year, the casks able to honour the founder's triptych: aroma, roundness, length. It makes an ideal gift for people born in 1950, for a family anniversary or for a wedding celebration that recalls that year. This Armagnac is 40% vol. It comes in a 70 cl Milady bottle, delivered in a gift box, ready to be given.

The year 1950

1950 will be remembered for the legendary World Cup final at the Maracanã and for the Schuman Plan, which laid the foundations of European unity. In Gascony, the vines that year yielded a post-war reconstruction harvest, now aged for over seven decades in Gascon oak casks.
