Dartigalongue Armagnac Vintage 1994

  • Ageing Vintage 1994, a single harvest

For its Louis-Philippe blend, Dartigalongue has assembled five vintages, from 1979 to 1994: this 1994 harvest is the youngest of them. Bottled on its own, it offers a nose of vanilla, candied fruits, plum and peach, with toasted notes. The palate is very intense: the attack opens on yellow fruit, before tannins and sandalwood come through. A powerful vintage, best enjoyed in a wide-bowled glass. A fine choice for a birth or a wedding anniversary from 1994, the year the Channel Tunnel opened.
