Dartigalongue Armagnac Vintage 1998
This Bas-Armagnac vintage 1998 from the family house Dartigalongue, bottled at 42% vol. in a 70 cl bottle, opens on a nose revealing spiced notes and candied fruit, giving way to aromas of roasted coffee and cocoa. On the palate, very indulgent and rounded, notes of quince come through alongside hints of frangipane, with a finish on warm spices. Patiently aged in oak casks in the heart of Bas-Armagnac, this 1998 is best enjoyed as a digestif, slowly, to savour all the work of time.
