Dartigalongue Armagnac Vintage 2010
- Ageing 2010 vintage, single harvest
In 2010, Françoise Dartigalongue persuaded Benoit Hillion, husband of her niece Virginie, to leave his career as an agronomist in Paris and take over the house in Nogaro. This vintage marks the year of his arrival. The nose is very flattering, with candied orange, sandalwood and gentle spices. The palate offers a lovely roundness, with plum and toasted wood, leading to a fresh finish of candied citrus. It is the youngest vintage from the house that we carry. A gift-boxed bottle for a birth or a wedding anniversary from that same year, 2010.
