Monluc Armagnac 30 years Perle
- Ageing 30 year age statement, Perle cuvée
- Terroir Ténarèze
The 30 year age statement of the Perle cuvée calls for patience, and this bottle rewards it. It comes from Château de Monluc, in Saint-Puy, in the Gers, the paternal home of Marshal Blaise de Monluc, still owned by the Lassus family. This Armagnac from Ténarèze, at 43% vol., comes in a 70 cl bottle, in its wooden case. It suits a milestone birthday as well as a retirement gift, or a personal cellar to which one adds a fine piece. Its amber colour and gingerbread notes on the finish are best enjoyed slowly, at the end of a meal.
