BARON DE SIGOGNAC ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1918
- Cask oak
- Grape varieties Ugni Blanc, Baco
The 1918 grapes were harvested a few weeks before the Armistice of 11 November. The resulting eau-de-vie then aged in oak casks for decades, before joining the reserves of Château de Bordeneuve, in the Bas-Armagnac, which the Guasch family has owned since 1974. One hundred and eight years have passed since the harvest. Like all Baron de Sigognac vintages, this 70 cl bottle is filled to order, and the bottling date is noted on the back label. Bottled at 40% vol., it is presented in a wooden box: a gift steeped in memory.
