Sempé Armagnac Vintage 1937

From the 1937 harvest, this Bas-Armagnac joins the great collection of vintages that the house of Sempé has been building since its founding in 1934, in Aignan, in the Gers. Successive cellar masters select for each year the casks capable of delivering the founder's triptych: fragrance, roundness, length. It makes a fine gift idea for people born in 1937, for a milestone birthday or to complete a collection. It is 40% vol., comes in a 70 cl Milady bottle and is delivered in its case.

the vintage

The 1937 vintage

Aged for nearly nine decades, the 1937 vintage has developed a round and generous character, carried by notes of vanilla and candied fruit. On the palate, it expresses itself through dried fruit, walnut and fig, the hallmark of very long patience in Gascon oak casks.
