JEAN CAVÉ BAS-ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1937
- Ageing Vintage: eau-de-vie from the 1937 harvest alone, unblended
- Cask Large-grained oak, medium toast
- Distillation Continuous
In 1937, Paris hosted the Exposition internationale des arts et techniques, for which the Palais de Chaillot was built. In the Gers, Jean Cavé distilled that autumn's harvest. This vintage, never blended, is bottled at 40.5% vol.; it has aged in large-grained oak and is presented in an Olympe decanter with its wooden arch. The house, established in Lannepax since 1883, counts it among the treasures of its long collection. For a birth, a wedding anniversary, or a company milestone from 1937.
