DELORD ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1965
- Ageing Eau-de-vie from the 1965 harvest alone, aged in oak casks
- Cask Oak casks, in the house cellars at Lannepax (Gers)
On the house tasting notes, this 1965 presents a deep amber colour with orange highlights, and a complex nose where vanilla, coffee and rancio come together. The palate stays in a woody, spiced register, with pepper and liquorice, and a finish of good length. Sixty-one years separate this harvest from 2026: it was distilled at Lannepax and aged on its own, as is the case with every Delord vintage. Bottled at 40% vol. in a 70 cl basquaise, it comes in a wooden gift box.
