clés des ducs Armagnac 1965
- Ageing Vintage 1965, distilled at Panjas, unblended
In November 1965, France launched Astérix, its first satellite. A few weeks earlier, in Gascony, the harvest had yielded the eau-de-vie in this bottle, distilled at Panjas and aged alone in oak casks. Clés des Ducs never blends its vintages: each one retains the character of its year. Sixty-one years now stand between the harvest and your glass. The cellar master favours length and smoothness, with a restrained oakiness. The 70 cl Exception bottle, at 40% vol., is delivered in a cardboard gift box, a fine present for someone celebrating their 61st birthday.
