This Bas-Armagnac 1966 vintage from the family house Dartigalongue, bottled at 42% vol. in a 70 cl bottle, opens on a nose revealing a floral and elegant profile, with notes of candied lemon. On the palate, fairly dry, with mentholated notes and a lovely freshness, leading to a finish of sweet almond and dried flowers. Patiently aged in oak casks in the heart of Bas-Armagnac, this 1966 is best enjoyed as a digestif, slowly, to savour all the work of time.
