Sempé Armagnac Vintage 1969

The 1969 vintage joins the great collection that the house of Sempé has been building since 1934 in Aignan, in the Gers. For each harvest, the cellar master selects the casks that will yield a mature eau-de-vie, true to the founder's triptych: fragrance, roundness, length. This is a Bas-Armagnac intended for those born in 1969, or to celebrate a wedding held that year. It comes in a 70 cl Milady bottle, at 40% vol., delivered in a case, ready to give for a birthday or to open with family.

The Year 1969

1969 will forever be remembered as the year Neil Armstrong walked on the Moon before a billion television viewers, while Woodstock brought together four hundred thousand revellers. In Gascony, the vines of that legendary year yielded a harvest whose eaux-de-vie, aged for more than five decades in Gascon oak casks, have developed a complex and harmonious profile, ranging from prunes to noble spices.
