Marcel Trépout Armagnac Vintage 1971
- Ageing 1971 vintage, harvest year
- Cask French oak cask
A bottle of 1971 is made to mark a date: a birth, a wedding or a birthday celebrated that year, or a nod to a generation. This vintage Armagnac takes its place in the Marcel Trépout collection, whose vintages go back well into the 20th century. The house's Armagnacs have their origins at Château Notre Dame, where Marcel Trépout took over the cellars of Maison Daroux in the 1940s. Made from the 1971 harvest and aged in a French oak cask, it is presented in a 70 cl bottle at 40% vol., under the Armagnac appellation.
