Dartigalongue Armagnac Vintage 1983
- Ageing Vintage 1983, a single harvest
The 1983 is one of the five vintages that Dartigalongue blended into their Louis-Philippe cuvée, created to mark the house's 180th anniversary. Bottled on its own, it opens with a nose of spices, sandalwood and prunes. The attack is fairly dry, with cocoa notes, before giving way to a delicate and indulgent finish. To enjoy it, a tasting glass and a glass of water at room temperature are all you need; a few minutes' wait will help it open up. A 70 cl bottle in a gift box, ideal for someone born in 1983.
