DELORD ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1985
- Ageing Eau-de-vie from the 1985 harvest alone, aged in oak casks
- Cask Oak casks, in the house cellars at Lannepax (Gers)
The 1985 stands out, on the house tasting notes, for a highly complex and elegant nose: dried fruits (apricot, fig), vanilla, honey and baking spices. On the palate, the tannins are well pronounced and intertwine with spices, almond and frangipane, like a festive pastry. This single-harvest eau-de-vie was distilled at Lannepax and aged in the family cellars. It turns forty-one in 2026 and is bottled at 40% vol. Basquaise bottle of 70 cl, wooden case.
Serve with Neat, or with a cigar, a chocolate dessert or an arabica coffee, as the house suggests
