DANIS ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1986 BRUT DE FÛT
- Ageing 1986 vintage, unreduced
- Grape varieties Folle Blanche
The 1986 is among the Folle Blanche vintages that the domaine keeps in very small quantities. Its colour is amber with golden highlights, bright and clear. The nose, elegant, weaves together spices and exotic woods; the attack is clean and the whole is of remarkable complexity, through to a finish of finesse and persistence. As always at Danis, distillation is carried out using the travelling alembic still that comes to the domaine each year, and the spirit is bottled at cask strength, here 48% vol.
