Vintage good 1990 was a year of liberation and reunification, marked by Nelson Mandela's release from prison after twenty-seven years and the reunification of Germany. In Gascony, that year's harvest yielded spirits with a fruity, well-balanced profile, now aged for more than three decades in Gascon oak casks, with notes of dried fruits and vanilla.
