Each year, the Dartigalongue family selects its eaux-de-vie in the Bas-Armagnac, from silty and sandy soils renowned for producing fine, elegant spirits. The 1991 harvest comes from this terroir. Its distinctive nose brings together mocha, vanilla and pastry aromas. The palate is well balanced, resting on dried fruits and sandalwood. This vintage is best enjoyed at leisure, as a digestif or paired with a square of dark chocolate. Presented in a 70 cl bottle with a gift box, it celebrates a birth or a wedding from 1991.

The 1991 Vintage

1991 was marked by a late April frost that affected several vineyards across the greater South-West and reduced yields in certain areas. The eaux-de-vie it produced nonetheless display an elegant and powerful profile, with notes of fruit, prune and a subtle woody touch, the palate round, full and generous with hints of candied fruit and spice.
