Monluc Armagnac Vintage 2000

  • Ageing vintage 2000, harvest year
  • Terroir Ténarèze

A vintage is the eau-de-vie of a single harvest year: here, 2000. It is a fine idea for a birth, a birthday or a wedding celebrated in 2000, or to salute a generation. This Armagnac-Ténarèze takes its place in the collection that Château de Monluc, in Saint-Puy, in the Gers, holds from 1963 to 2016. The Lassus family, still the owner, has been developing Armagnac there since the 1920s. Offered in a 70 cl bottle at 43% vol., it is as good to keep as it is to give.

Aged for a quarter of a century in Gascon oak casks, these eaux-de-vie now present a youthful, lively profile, with fresh fruit, floral notes and a touch of vanilla.
