This 70 cl decanter, presented in its prestige wooden gift box, shows a reddish-brown colour with copper highlights, betraying a very long time in cask. Coming from tawny sands, this 50-year-old Armagnac blends 80% Ugni Blanc and 20% Baco, distilled at 56% in a continuous Armagnac still. The nose, elegant and harmonious, combines wood, raisins and vanilla with power. On the palate, the texture is rich and refined, carried by notes of rancio and lightly roasted coffee, before a finish of remarkable length. A rare Armagnac, made for great occasions.
