MILLET ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1978 MAGNUM 150 Cl
- Ageing 1978 vintage, single-harvest eau-de-vie, aged in oak casks at the estate
- Cask French oak casks, aged in the cellars of Château de Millet until bottling
- Grape varieties Baco and Ugni Blanc, the classic Bas-Armagnac varieties grown on the estate's sandy soils in Eauze
This 1978 vintage Bas-Armagnac from Château de Millet, presented in a 150 cl magnum, is a single-harvest eau-de-vie, vinified and distilled at the estate by the Dèche family, who have been grower-producers in Eauze for five generations. This vintage appears in the domaine's 2026 price list, but the house does not publish tasting notes for this particular year, and we would not presume to invent any. It reflects the same expertise as the commented vintages, reduced to 42% vol. and aged in oak casks. The vineyard is managed according to sustainable farming principles, certified Haute Valeur Environnementale level 3. Each vintage is available in 20 cl, 50 cl, 70 cl, magnum and a 2.5 l Gascon pot, with an optional wooden gift box.
