MILLET ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1978
- Ageing Vintage 1978, single-harvest eau-de-vie, aged in oak casks on the estate
- Cask French oak casks, aged in the cellars of Château de Millet until bottling
- Grape varieties Baco and Ugni Blanc, Bas-Armagnac grape varieties grown on the estate's sandy soils in Eauze
This Bas-Armagnac vintage 1978 from Château de Millet, in a 70 cl bottle, is an eau-de-vie from a single harvest year, vinified and distilled on the estate by the Dèche family, who have been grower-producers in Eauze for five generations. This vintage appears on the domaine's 2026 price list, but the house does not publish tasting notes for this particular year: we do not invent them. It shares the same expertise as the commented vintages, reduced to 42% vol. and aged in oak casks. The vineyard is managed according to sustainable farming practices and holds High Environmental Value (HVE) level 3 certification. Each vintage is available in 20 cl, 50 cl, 70 cl, magnum and the traditional 2.5 l Gascon pot, with a wooden gift box as an option.
