This vintage 1979 Bas-Armagnac from Château de Millet, presented in a 150 cl magnum, is an eau-de-vie from a single harvest year, vinified and distilled at the estate by the Dèche family, who have been grower-producers in Eauze for five generations. The house's 2026 catalogue describes it as follows: an open, generous nose dominated by spice and exotic wood; an attack of great softness on the palate, with aromatic intensity that builds; and an explosive finish. A vintage of true fullness, in the house's own words. The vineyard is managed using sustainable farming practices, certified Haute Valeur Environnementale level 3. Each vintage is available in 20 cl, 50 cl, 70 cl, magnum and pot gascon (2.5 l), with an optional wooden gift box.
