Forty-seven years after the harvest, the 1979 vintage from Delord is presented here in a large format. The 150 cl pot gascon takes centre stage at a family celebration or an evening with friends. This vintage, with its powerful nose of vanilla, cocoa, butter and warm wood, finishes, according to the house tasting notes, with a very persistent rancio of butter, stone fruit and walnut. Distilled at Lannepax, never blended, 40% vol., in a wooden case.
