clés des ducs Armagnac 1964
- Ageing Vintage 1964, distilled at Panjas, unblended
1964, the year of the Tokyo Olympic Games, is also a Gascon harvest that Clés des Ducs distilled at Panjas and kept apart. Sixty-two years on, this eau-de-vie remains the portrait of a single vintage. The house, founded in 1774 by Paul Baylac, seigneur de Panjas, and taken over in 2008 by the Armanoir group, selects its casks for a long, rounded spirit with a light touch of oak. Presented with quiet elegance: a 70 cl Exception bottle at 40% vol., in a cardboard gift box. A perfect choice for a 62nd birthday or to mark a memory of 1964 over dessert.
