Dartigalongue Armagnac Vintage 1964
- Ageing Vintage 1964, a single harvest
After the Second World War, Pierre Dartigalongue continued to introduce his armagnacs to the United States and set out to win over Northern Europe: Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway. It was during these years of expansion that this 1964 harvest was born. On the nose, the house describes vanilla, candied orange zest and delicate floral touches. On the palate, great freshness and tangy notes lead to a long, refined finish. Served at room temperature in a tulip glass, this vintage makes a lovely companion for a 1964 anniversary or a nod to the year of the Tokyo Olympic Games.
