Sempé Armagnac Vintage 1964

Since 1934, the house of Sempé, based in Aignan in the Gers, has been adding to its collection of vintages, and the 1964 harvest has its place there. Successive cellar masters select, for each year, casks of mature eaux-de-vie, true to the founder's triptych: perfume, roundness, length. It is a natural gift for someone born in 1964, or for a couple married in 1964 who like to keep a date in a bottle. This 70 cl Bas-Armagnac, at 40% vol., comes in a Milady bottle and arrives in its presentation box, ready to give.

The year 1964

Vintage grand

1964 will be remembered as the year the Beatles made their triumphant arrival in the United States and the Civil Rights Act was signed into law. In Gascony, the vines yielded a vintage of notable elegance and finesse. After more than six decades of ageing in Gascon oak casks, these eaux-de-vie offer a refined profile, rich in nuances of dried fruit and vanilla.
