clés des ducs Armagnac 1967
- Ageing Vintage 1967, distilled at Panjas, unblended
December 1967: in Cape Town, Professor Barnard performed the first successful heart transplant. In Gascony, the previous autumn's harvest was already ageing in cask at Panjas, where Clés des Ducs had distilled it. This eau-de-vie has never been blended; it is fifty-nine years old from the vintage. The house, founded in 1774 and part of the Armanoir group since 2008, asks its cellar master to select casks that yield a long, smooth Armagnac with a light touch of oak. Bouteille Exception, 70 cl, 40% vol., presented in a cardboard gift box: everything you need to give 1967 with elegance.
