clés des ducs Armagnac 1969
- Ageing Vintage 1969, distilled at Panjas, unblended
On 2 March 1969, Concorde made its first flight from Toulouse, just a few dozen kilometres from the vineyards of the Gers. The harvest from that same year was distilled at Panjas by Clés des Ducs, then aged in cask separately, as is the practice for all the house's vintages. The eau-de-vie is now fifty-seven years old from the harvest. The cellar master selects the casks that give length and roundness, keeping the oak influence discreet. Bottled at 40% vol. in a 70 cl Exception bottle with a cardboard gift box: a birthday present that tells the story of one very particular year.
