Dartigalongue Armagnac Vintage 1970

  • Ageing Vintage 1970, a single harvest

In 1936, Pierre Dartigalongue signed a partnership with one of the major New York distributors, a collaboration that would last several decades. By the time the 1970 harvest came around, the eaux-de-vie from Nogaro had long been making their way across the Atlantic. This vintage offers a very intense nose of smoked wood, rancio and cinnamon. The palate, subtle and refined, contrasts with that aromatic power and closes on liquorice and dried apple. A 70 cl bottle presented in a gift box, ideal for someone born in 1970 or for a lover of aged, wood-driven eaux-de-vie.
