clés des ducs Armagnac 1970
- Ageing 1970 vintage, distilled at Panjas, unblended
This armagnac was born from the 1970 harvest, the summer when Pelé's Brazil lifted the World Cup in Mexico. Distilled at Panjas, the eau-de-vie has aged alone, without blending, and has now reached fifty-six years since the harvest. Clés des Ducs, whose history dates back to 1774, entrusts its cellar master with the selection of casks: he looks for an eau-de-vie that is long and smooth, with a light rather than heavy oak influence. The 70 cl Exception decanter, bottled at 40% vol., is presented in a gift box. For the 56th birthday of a friend, a brother or a sister born in 1970.
