CASTARÈDE ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1976

  • Ageing 44 years in cask, bottled in 2020
  • Cask Oak

Fifty years in 2026: those married in 1976 celebrate their golden wedding anniversary, and the children of the scorching summer of 1976 mark their half-century. This harvest aged forty-four years in oak casks at Castarède before being bottled in 2020. The house describes it as a distinctive Armagnac, remarkably gentle in character, with tasting notes below. Castarède, a family house since 1832, matures its vintages at Château de Maniban, in Mauléon-d'Armagnac. 70 cl bottle, 40% vol., presented in a gift box.
