The summer of 1976 is remembered for its drought and heat. At Château de Millet, the 1976 harvest yielded an eau-de-vie that the Gilbert & Gaillard guide rated 94/100 in its 2008 edition. The estate echoes its description: a superb, fully open nose of prunes, figs and spices, a smooth palate that enriches those aromas, then a festival of spices on the finish. Silver Medal at the Concours national des caves particulières 2007. For a birth or a wedding from 1976, it comes in a 70 cl bottle at 42% vol., presented in a wooden gift box.
