LAUBADE ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1992

  • Cask Gascon pedunculate oak, 420-litre casks
  • Grape varieties Baco, Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, Colombard

Drawn entirely from the 1992 harvest, this vintage was aged in the cellars of Château de Laubade in Gascon pedunculate oak casks crafted on the estate. It was then bottled at the domaine in Sorbets, in the heart of the Bas-Armagnac. The 1992 vintage opens on aromas of plum, vanilla, toasted notes and fresh bread. Balanced and fruit-forward, with vanilla running through the palate, it is rounded by tannins that are young yet already well integrated.

The 1992 vintage

The 1992 vintage seduces with its deep amber colour and golden highlights. The nose unfolds aromas of dried fruits, apricot, quince and prune, with notes of tobacco and leather that carry through on the palate in perfect harmony with the nose, a mark of the fine balance acquired over years of ageing.
