Dartigalongue Armagnac Vintage 1996
- Ageing 1996 vintage, a single harvest
This 1996 harvest was distilled continuously in a column still, then entrusted to the cellars of Dartigalongue at Nogaro, where Ghislain Laffargue, cellar master since 1990, oversaw its ageing. It has never been blended with any other year: that is the very principle of a vintage. The house describes its style in two words, freshness and elegance, and favours gascon oak casks sourced from local coopers. Presented in a 70 cl bottle with a gift box, this 1996 vintage is a fitting choice for a birthday, a birth year or a wedding anniversary from that year.
