A 1996 harvest, chosen by the cellar masters of the house of Sempé from among the casks of the great collection begun in 1934 at Aignan. Each vintage is selected to remain true to the founder's triptych: aroma, roundness, length. A natural gift for someone born in 1996, or to mark a wedding or birth anniversary celebrated with 1996 as its reference point. This 70 cl Bas-Armagnac, bottled at 40% vol., is presented in a Milady bottle and delivered in its case.
The year 1996 offered Gascony a fine balance between freshness and maturity. Spirits from this vintage stand out for their aromatic vivacity and elegance, with notes of fresh fruit, white flowers and hazelnut. After three decades of ageing in Gascon oak casks, they have developed hints of vanilla and gentle spice.
