Monluc Armagnac VS 4 years
- Ageing VS, age count 4 years
- Terroir Ténarèze
The VS is the entry point into the aged eaux-de-vie of Château de Monluc: four years old for the youngest spirit in the blend. The house describes an amber colour, a nose of nuts, dried flowers, pear and vanilla, then a palate that adds honey, cedar and peppermint. It is said to be round and silky, with a long, light freshness on the finish. Under the Armagnac-Ténarèze appellation, at 40% vol., it is the ideal starting point for discovering the style of Saint-Puy, as an aperitif or after dinner, and for comparing with the VSOP and the XO.
