How it is made

XF, short for « Chauffe Extra Forte » (extra-heavy toast), is one of Les Curiosités de Laubade. Made from 100% Ugni Blanc grown on the estate and harvested in 2015, this Armagnac aged in a 420-litre Gascon oak cask given an extra-heavy toast by the Doreau family cooperage.

The intense toast shapes its profile: spice and grilled oak come through without masking the freshness of the fruit. A characterful Armagnac for lovers of expressive spirits, best enjoyed neat in a tulip glass.
