This Bas-Armagnac vintage 1987 from Château de Millet, presented in a 250 cl pot gascon, is a single-harvest eau-de-vie, vinified and distilled at the estate by the Dèche family, owner-growers in Eauze for five generations. The house's 2026 catalogue describes it as follows: a powerful and complex nose of prune, orange peel and subtle almond notes; on the palate, elegant woody touches (oak, cedar, resinous notes), dried fruits and candied fruits; a lively and persistent finish. The vineyard is managed under reasoned farming practices, certified Haute Valeur Environnementale level 3. Each vintage is available in 20 cl, 50 cl, 70 cl, magnum and 2.5 l pot gascon, with a wooden gift box as an option.

How it is made

Vinified and distilled on the estate using a traditional Armagnac still, then aged in oak casks. A craft production of genuine quality. For five generations, the Dèche family, grower-producers, have been distilling Armagnac from their own vineyards, regularly recognised by the specialist press both in France and abroad.

The vineyard stands on the rolling green hills to the north-west of Eauze, the capital of Armagnac, where sandy-clay soils and the light, sandy soils known as "sables fauves" alternate across the landscape. This distinctive terroir of the Bas-Armagnac zone is celebrated for producing delicate, fruit-forward eaux-de-vie.
