MILLET ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1977
- Ageing Vintage 1977, single-harvest eau-de-vie, aged in oak casks at the estate
- Cask French oak casks, aged in the cellars of Château de Millet until bottling
- Grape varieties Baco and Ugni Blanc, Bas-Armagnac grape varieties grown on the estate's sandy soils in Eauze
January 1977 saw the opening of the Centre Pompidou in Paris. That same year, in Eauze, the Dèche family harvested, vinified and distilled their own grapes, as they do for all their armagnacs. This eau-de-vie from 1977 has never been blended with another year: it aged in oak casks until bottling, the date of which appears on the label. The wax seal over the cork does the rest. The 70 cl bottle, at 42% vol., comes in a wooden gift box, ready to present.
