clés des ducs Armagnac 1977
- Ageing Vintage 1977, distilled at Panjas, unblended
In January 1977, the Centre Pompidou opened its doors in Paris. The Gascon harvest of that same year yielded this eau-de-vie, distilled at Panjas and then aged separately, cask by cask, without blending. It is now forty-nine years old from the harvest. Clés des Ducs, a house founded in Panjas in 1774, seeks in its vintages an Armagnac that is long, rich and smooth, carried by a gentle oakiness. The 70 cl Exception bottle is bottled at 40% vol. and comes in a cardboard gift box. A perfect choice for a 49th anniversary, before the milestone of the fiftieth.
