In May 1930, Jean Mermoz crossed the South Atlantic by seaplane for Aéropostale, the company born in Toulouse. That same year, the Gascon harvest gave the eau-de-vie in this bottle: Ugni Blanc or Baco from tawny sands soils, distilled in a continuous Armagnac-type still, then aged in Limousin oak casks and kept at Château de Bordeneuve. Baron de Sigognac keeps each vintage separate, without blending. In 2026, ninety-six years have passed since the harvest. 70 cl Cognac-style bottle at 40% vol., filled to order, bottling date on the back, wooden box: for an aviation enthusiast or an extraordinary anniversary.
