JEAN CAVÉ BAS-ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1930
- Ageing Vintage: eau-de-vie from the 1930 harvest alone, unblended
- Cask 'Gros grains' oak, medium char
- Distillation Continuous still
This 1930 vintage is one of the pre-war eaux-de-vie that Jean Cavé still offers. Distilled by continuous still at Lannepax, it has aged in 'gros grains' oak casks with a medium char, then bottled at 40.1% vol. The cellar master, as the house notes, tops up the casks each year to preserve the harmony of the ageing process. The Olympe decanter, presented in its wooden arch case, makes a fine anniversary gift for someone born that year, or for a family celebration of a wedding anniversary.
