Dartigalongue Armagnac Vintage 1963
This vintage 1963 Bas-Armagnac from the family house Dartigalongue, bottled at 42% vol. in a 70 cl decanter, opens on a nose revealing notes of exotic fruit, dry walnut and rancio. On the palate, a fairly rounded and indulgent vintage, with an attack of pastry notes that give way to soft tannins on the finish. Patiently aged in oak casks at the heart of Bas-Armagnac, this 1963 is best enjoyed as a digestif, slowly, to savour all the work of time.
