BARON DE SIGOGNAC ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1963
- Cask Limousin oak
- Grape varieties Ugni Blanc or Baco
- Terroir land of tawny sands
- Distillation Armagnac-type continuous still
Harvested in 1963, after a winter that remained among the coldest of the century, this eau-de-vie, born in the land of tawny sands from Ugni Blanc or Baco, was distilled in an Armagnac-type continuous still. It then aged in Limousin oak casks before joining the reserves of Château de Bordeneuve. The Guasch family, owners since 1974, keeps each Baron de Sigognac vintage separate. Sixty-three years now separate the harvest from your glass. The 70 cl Cognac-style bottle is filled to order, bears its bottling date on the back and arrives in a wooden box.
