clés des ducs Armagnac 1963
- Ageing Vintage 1963, distilled at Panjas, unblended
The grapes of 1963 were harvested after one of the harshest winters France had seen in a century. Distilled at Panjas, the eau-de-vie has aged without ever being blended with another year, as required by the Clés des Ducs vintage rules. The cellar master selects each cask individually to preserve an Armagnac that is long, rich and mellow, where the oak accompanies without overpowering. The 70 cl Exception decanter is bottled at 40% vol. and comes in a cardboard gift box: a considered choice for someone born in 1963.
