JEAN CAVÉ BAS-ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1963

  • Ageing Vintage: eau-de-vie from the 1963 harvest alone, unblended
  • Cask 'Gros grains' oak, medium toast
  • Distillation Continuous

The 1963 harvest holds a special place at Jean Cavé: along with the 1984, it goes into the house 40-year-old blend. Here it is tasted on its own, as it has aged in 'gros grains' oak casks after continuous distillation. The chai has brought it to 45.1% vol. Olympe decanter, wooden arch presentation. A fine opportunity for the curious to compare a vintage eau-de-vie with the blend it helps to shape. A perfect choice for a birth or a wedding anniversary from that year.
