DELORD ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1973 MAGNUM 150 cl

  • Ageing Eau-de-vie from the 1973 harvest alone, aged in oak casks
  • Cask Oak casks, in the house cellars at Lannepax (Gers)

This pot gascon of 150 cl holds the 1973 harvest, the vintage the Delord family associates with Jacques and Pierre, the two brothers who took over the house together that year. In this large format, the vintage is made for celebrations shared among many: a friend's fifty-third birthday, a family gathering, a year-end occasion. The house describes it as rich with rancio, cocoa and vanilla on the nose, rounded and spiced on the palate (pepper, ginger, clove). It comes in at 40% vol. and is presented in a wooden case.

Aged for more than half a century in Gascon oak casks, these eaux-de-vie display intense aromas of prunes, liquorice and roasted coffee.
